This is the most exciting tool in VR I have used in a long time, and the timing has been perfect because our office is moving into 2 locations so I have been building our space out using the designer's blueprints.
In building out on of the spaces I became a little concerned because the room seemed much smaller than it should when I was standing in the middle of the room, and the chairs seemed too big to fit. I used the measure tool, and confirmed I was in the ballpark of having the dimensions right. As a test I decided to build our our current space, so I can take what I know really well in real life and compare it to my views in VR.
In one small office area, it appeared that I could spread my arms out and touch each opposite wall, but in real life I wouldn't even be close.
I also did a quick test that 1 wall is 12 inches thick, when I hold my fingers out an measure the wall in VR and look at the distance in real life it is more like 14.5 inches.
Is there a way to tweak my virtual size when I am on the "floor" in my VR creations so I can try to get a better approximation what it would look like to be in the space?
