Arkio's performance threshold is determined by how much processing power is available on your device. If you are running Arkio on a mobile phone or standalone headset you have less power and memory available when operations go wrong or when lots of geometry is shown in the scene compared to a PC.
Slow performance in Arkio is often caused by viewing too large scenes or imported 3D model.
The following steps you can follow to troubleshoot and fix performance issues:
- Restart your device
- Load a new empty Arkio scene
- Remove your last saved user files when having trouble selecting an existing or new scene
- Connect to a different Internet source when downloading and trying out the app
- Clear and re-import the loaded resources on your device
- Uninstall and reinstall Arkio
